Cura Version

Ultimaker Cura 5.4.0 - see attachment

Operating System

Windows 11, Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8550U CPU @ 1.80GHz, 2001 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)

Printer

Mingda Magician X2

Reproduction steps

  1. Started printing CFFFP.San Bernardo.gcode file at 9:15pm - attached in zip file
  2. Checked printed at 1:50pm and it was still operating
  3. Wake up this morning and the printing is stopped.

Actual results

See the attached photo image. The image is only printed about 3/4 complete.

This is the second time I have had an image stop before completing. It was different image, but it stopped after about four hours of printing.

Expected results

The entire image should have printed. I have attached the gcode file and my default printer settings screenshot.

Thanks for the report. I went through the gcode you posted and there is nothing in there that would stop a print. In fact between the M106 fan line at the start of LAYER:1 and the end of the model portion of the Gcode there are only G0 and G1 commands.

Is it possible that you had a power glitch that stopped the printer? How were you printing the file? (SD card, Octoprint, USB, etc.)

If you would create a project file, zip it, and post the zip folder it might help...but there are no problems with the gcode you posted. This really doesn't sound like a Cura problem though.

Hello,

I was printing from the SD card.

I have recreated the Cura project file. It may not be exact, but this is the image I was printing. The size may not be exact. See the attached project file as requested.

Now I'm getting a bad file name on that zip file.
