Entering a crawlspace in mother's shadow chase sequence can soft lock

In rooms with bomb spawners, keys and keygates it's possible to open up a crawl space by blowing up rocks. If you enter the crawlspace and come back to the chase sequence, any pickups you collected in the chase sequence are removed.

In the case where you need a key to open a gate, this will softlock the game.

DISCLAIMER: I know that this thread is explicitly for vanilla repentance, but given the minuscule chance to open up a crawlspace by chance I'm not going to attempt to replicate it in vanilla. Feel free to ignore/close this bug report if this still isn't an appropriate report.
