Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Game crashes silently on startup with Vulkan enabled. There's not much else to add, starting the game the Dota window can not be seen at all, it just loads for 10-15 seconds before the application is closed.

If there are logs or other information I can provide to help out please let me know, I've tried disabling shader pre-caching in Steam without success.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Install Vulkan DLC & Enable it with launch options
  2. Launch Dota 2
  3. Wait for 10-15 seconds
  4. Game is no longer running

Same problem, game crush in main menu while rendering background

Today it started happening for me as well. The game stops with the appearance of the event characters. It happened after an operating system upgrade that I had been putting off for a long time. The problem apparently occurred just a couple of weeks ago.
