The log was 55MB, so I'll send that however requested.

Symptoms

The game launches, creates a black window and closes, sometime skilling the process, sometimes not.

Hello @Dragon8oy, in general Proton logs compress well. You could throw it in an archive and see if Github is happy with that.

There doesn't seem to be known anti cheat in the game https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Just_Cause_3 https://steamcommunity.com/app/225540/discussions/0/2590022385664559533/

But it's very suspicious that the Multiplayer DLC for JC 2 and JC 3 are borked. Maybe they have and in house invasive anti cheat?
