Symptoms

Whenever I open the navigation map, and select my currently orbiting planet, the game freezes, and then some assets get corrupted and the game unfreezes.

Reproduction

Open up a save game, go to the navigation computer, look at currently orbited body.

Hello @scmbradley, it may be worthwhile to test if the game behaves better with an up to date version of mesa from a PPA like oibaf or kisak-mesa and if you can reproduce the issue with one of those mesa builds, then please report your findings to your video driver vendor.
