Symptoms

The game freezes while starting, but the sound is working (background music plays normally). This happens on all of the versions listed, except for Proton 4.11-13 where the game launches fine, but the sound does not work nor the controller. You can see a picture of the freeze here :

The game launches fine on a other computer with different hardware (R5 7600X and RX6700XT), but same software (Manjaro installed at the same time, and Steam and the game installed in the same manner).

On the laptop, tried both Wayland and X11 environment with the same results, and also tried PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command% launch command as well without success.

Hello @2theo67, there's hints elsewhere that there's a mesa/ANV issue with this game. It may be worthwhile to also mention your experience to your video driver vendor if it hasn't been already.

Hi @kisak-valve, thank you for your answer. Do you know what should I need to mention if I create an issue to the Manjaro team (or should it be the mesa team ?) ? Could I give them the details that I gave you with the logs provided ?

Game starts and can hear music but screen freezes at same spot as screenshot above.
