Symptoms

Paint detection is unreliable. The red paint in particular is impossible to use. On level ground it is sometimes not detected. On sloped ground the detection flickers. This causes it to not give the intended speed effect. As a result, the level in which it is introduced (and consequently the game) is impossible to complete.

Reproduction

1. Open the game as normal using default settings.
2. Enter into and play the game as normal until you encounter the red paint.
3. Observe that the indicator in the bottom left sometimes does not show up or flickers and the effect does not get applied.
