The Kill feed shows incorrectly in 5:4 res (1280x1024)

Do other source base games do the same thing?

No, only Half Life Deathmatch: Source.

I did a quick test some minutes ago on CSS to check and it is working fine. 2013-09-18_00001

I see the problem, this aspect ration isn't well supported at all. I'll drag the death notices over here.
