[L4D2] Crazy lighting #2266

I've come back to L4D2 after some time, and now I see that the lighting goes flickery when I go to certain spots on maps. These seem to temporarily fix themselves when I shine the flashlight.

What seems to be the problem?

Hello @BreakinBenny, please copy your system information from steam (Steam -> Help -> System Information) and put it in a gist, then include a link to the gist in this issue report.

lighting goes flickery is bug? I thought valve add this for more realistic p.s. same here on linux

I've looked up a solution, it seems that Teamspeak and Overwolf are causing problems with the lighting in-game. If you uninstall them the issue goes away.
