  Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Connect to Matchmaking
2. Disconnect from matchmaking
3. Type "retry", server join fail

You probably have to use the button provided in the Steam menu. I think the reason for that is, it shared a unique token that allows you to connect to the server.
