Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

When I try to run cs2 in slr1 mode, I get this error (see below), various arguments do not help -steamdeck. Changing to a proton and its other versions does not help correct the situation.

Solved installing steam from aur repository directly.

yay -S steam

I was previously using flatpak.

I'm having the same issue, but with distro-provided Steam client on Manjaro stable.

CS2 crashes on launch, and Steam crashes along with it.

system: Linux 6.4.16 amd64 fontconfig 2:2.14.2 glibc 2.38

I am getting this error as of yesterday. CS2 crashed after startup, just before reaching main menu.

distro: EndeavorOS (Arch)

AMD Ryzen 5 3500 6-Core Processor Radeon RX 5500/5500M / Pro 5500M Kernel driver in use: amdgpu Kernel modules: amdgpu

Hello @GScottAlder, the Linux native variant of Counter-Strike 2 is intended to be run inside the Steam Linux Runtime - Sniper container environment. Running it from outside of the intended runtime is not supportable and invalidates your gdb test.

It's more likely your SIGBUS failure is #3728.
