I can confirm the bug, seems to happen after switching windows.
This picture more accurately shows that the textures show in the sunlight. http://i.imgur.com/yYQH92Z.jpg
I also noticed two black textures, but it did not seem as if lighting was the issue.
System Information: http://pastebin.com/ejsp49iM
In de_safehouse random objects are black. Books, chairs, doors.
Also having this bug, using NVidia GTX 760
I'd also like to add that the gun models in my inventory are also completely black
Can also confirm this issue.

Shadows are fulldark when not under a light source, and my inventory is also filled with only dark gun models.
My system uses nVidia Optimus, and when playing with my integrated graphics (Intel HD4000) I can also confirm the issues stated above.
Same here, also on nvidia with proprietary drivers.
Can confirm. I'm using an Nvidia GTS 450 on x-org 331.38.
Little more info: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS XServer 11 XServer vendor 1.15.1 NV-CONTROL 1.29
Issue is very bad unless I set my Shader to High or Very High and then it seems to be mostly fixed. Only tested on de_dust2. Issues after setting max shader included white/glossy defuse kits, blacked out palm trees in B Site, and AK47 case hardened was very dull and lacked any detail.
It appears that these dark textures also appear around hostages.
this is the view while the hostage is not being taken.
As soon as the hostage is taken, everything returns to normal. Currently as it is, hostage mode is very difficult to play because of this texture issue.
I have been playing even with the texture problem all night , I do not have the large block textures over the hostages like pyamsoft does , nothing game breaking like that.
So it may be a different bug
Can also confirm on Fedora with non-repo Nvidia proprietary drivers. Also, seems like no custom skins load at all, even under direct lighting, but could use more testing:

I'm only having this issue when setting Shader Detail to something other than Very High (don't remember if it happened in High, but it did on Medium). Anyhow - doesn't happen in Very High for me (NVIDIA and Intel)
Confirmed - shader detail to very high (max setting) fixed it 4 me 2.
Does not work for me some things/props still render dark when having shaders to very high. Steamsysteminfo
@alexhultman ment very high* just a typo
Confirmed. The problem intensity changes with the shader detail setting but is never resolved. Experienced black entities in various situations on very high shaders still. For example on de_castle.
I have this bug even when shaders are very high. I found text in the csgo console which might be related. Is there a way to save console output as a log file? it complains about materials and unknown shaders and unknown symbols.
+1
Yeah I still have some things black even in very high. Sorry for that

I use a nVidia GT750M though; it's via Optimus/Primus and not shown in the hardware list. My System is an Acer V5-573g.
For me it is all black :sob: I'm using the latest Intel open source drivers. With Windows, on the same PC, it runs fine.

Recent Failure Reports:
@hugomaiavieira you appear to be missing libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0:i386, which is needed for source games when used with mesa, but does not cause a fatal crash if missing.
@Tele42 thank you, it works! Now I have the same problem as the others: Dark/Missing Textures, unless under direct light source.
When this issue will solved?
Calm down. And yes, we get that everyone is having this issue. No need to spam this thread with a billion confirmations. Sit back and relax.
Okay, Sorry guys.
Today's update doesn't fix this issue.
The same here. Even weapons in loadout are BLACK.

I have a fix for this that I'm currently sanity checking/testing, so will hopefully be available soon.
@mariodonofrio : Nice to hear ! Keep up the really great work guys :) Being able to play my favorite games on Linux is a dream come true.
Apparently this should have been fixed today:
"Fixed bug where many items would be rendered with incorrect lighting causing them to appear very dark or black."
But it's not fixed
I have tried with shaders set to low, and models turned blacks again
New update fixed this for me !
Most noticeable on CS_Office , The dark textures show on hostages , pictures , the gun model itself .
The gun model texture will show up if I walk under a direct light source.
