@MrSchism this issue has nothing to do with system specs. It happens to everyone. I don't think it's a big deal though. Fadetoblack 1 solves this problem.
@MaximilianKohler the point is that it's requested in the readme and some issues may occur more at specific resolutions (issue 231, for example).
I think I know what he is talking about.
There is some sort of smoothing applied to camera movements when switching between different players when in first person spectator mode. When switching to view a different player, the camera position starts a distance away from the target player and takes several ms to align to the players view. This results in the ability to see other players or entities that are in other parts of the map.
it just needs to be forced to 0 no matter what, cl_smoothtime 0, right now you can change it to whatever you want easily able to call out player positions of other team.
@mikela-valve is it possible to make a fix for this problem in the next release? Just make cl_smoothtime 0 by default instead of 0.1 and do this cvar unchangeable
I may not get to fixing this in the next release but I'll look at forcing cl_smoothtime
to 0 when on the spectator team or when dead.

Maybe will be finished in 2030? Shame...
If you are dead and you change teammate witch you watch, sometimes you can see players thought walls while changing player. I think it's pretty annoying (especially in matches) if those players are in speaking via team speak etc.
