Steam Remote Play on Wayland is broken #10315

Latest Steam version is broken on a Wayland session using the -pipewire option. Black screen, unresponsive new UI and then highly distorted and very high pitch sounds go through. Host is an AMD RX 7800 XT, client is on an Intel Arc a380 also on Wayland.

Any news here ? Impossible to steam link to Linux currently.

I have the same problem I think. The logs are full of this : CDesktopCapturePipeWire: Couldn't import dmabuf: Function not implemented CDesktopCapturePipeWire: Failed to mmap memory: Operation not permitted CDesktopCapturePipeWire: Couldn't get image data
