The requirement could be satisfied using either an on board or off-unit hard drive, or both. If a wireless connection is able to be established, sending to an off-unit hard drive would save space. A cost/benefit analysis on the power requirement for such a task would have to be conducted.

Description: When the UAV identifies potential humans, in addition to sending their coordinate locations, the image recorded by the on-board camera at the moment the human is sensed will be stored. The pictures can serve as victim verification by a user or in case later retrieval of image is necessary. The images will save space so that entire video is not stored.

Fit Criterion: Each time either the visual or thermal sensor identifies a potential human, the camera's current frame is grabbed and stored/sent on hard drive.
