Or maybe change a code to disable vehicles from being cleaned up when a player
leaves?

why should vehicles be there when their owner isn't?
If a car is not removed when the players leave, when SHOULD it be gone? Never?
Have a server up for a bit and it will be full of cars. Are you going to call
in an admin to remove them every once in a while?

Well there is a car dealer and they sell people car and the cars are expensive
so there shouldn't be many cars.

And when the car dealer leaves, all the people that bought cars from them, also
loses their cars.

I also support adding such an option, it would make playing, especially on big
maps more fun.
Or, if you are up to it, you can make it so they bind to your SteamID and once
you purchase a car, you can then retrieve it via a command or a button from F4.
This would be best, but obviously would take more time to do.

I think this would be a nice addition, however there should be a max vehicle
cvar, that isn't class based.
I know you currently have "rp_maxvehicles" which will stop the class from
spamming them. But just like you're saying, after a few hours and no cvar to
limit the maximum allowed vehicles on the server, it would be a problem.
rp_vehicles 15 (maximum vehicles allowed on the server at one time, possibly.)

"Well there is a car dealer"
There isn't. There is no car dealer in DarkRP by default. It makes no sense for
me to make something to benefit something that isn't in DarkRP by default. It
adds overhead and it will be useless and even damaging for servers that don't
have the car dealer.
Damaging in servers that have no car dealer and blissfully turn the option on
and find their server having ghost vehicles after a while. The idea to add a
second max vehicles convar that works globally instead of per person will be
more confusing to server owners than Rubik's cubes for babies.
So I ask again, why should this be in DarkRP by default and not some third
party car dealer addon/module?

Just make it 1 car per person? Then wether the server gets spammed or not will
rely on the price the owner puts in for the cars.

That would still mean one ghost vehicle per person that has played and left on
the server.
