Search Visibility changes are not picked up (related to Issue 79)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install 2.6.8 Connector and 2.6.8 GSS
2. Within SharePoint for a site, go to Site Settings -> Search Visibility -> 
Select YES
3. While configuring connector, check the "Use SharePoint search visibility 
options" under Authorization Handling section
4. Run the connector, and ensure that site content is indexed
5. Change Search Visibility for the site to NO
6. Wait for connector to run through next traversal cycle
7. Notice that content is not removed from search index

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Updated Search Visibility settings within SharePoint should propogate through 
to search index

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
SharePoint 2007
