Hi, I have noticed that recently on some avideo sites (they do not belong to me), and I made some tests and I have no idea where it comes from. The problem is that I have no access to those sites's servers and users and I could not reproduce it on the sites that belong to me.
I suspect some plugin or configuration is doing that. What I can recommend now is to reset all the plugins and try to reenable them one by one to try to find which one is doing that.
I found that the plugin VideoLandscapeFullscreen is doing that. for now just disable it
Even better, uncheck this and you should be good
Ok it was unchecked to start with. I just checked it now, maybe that will help.
@fakeologist if you want the device to fullscreen, make sure you uncheck
@fakeologist could you try disabling the entire VideoLandscapeFullscreen plugin?
done try now @zombie-dave
Looks like that was it, it's working great on iPhone now.
If you have an Android phone, could you please check fullscreen still works on that too?
Works on Android. @DanielnetoDotCom maybe we don't even need the plugin anymore!

Thanks, Daniel.
Iβll reach out to the site owner and ask them to disable it, and let you know how it goes.

Describe the bug A clear and concise description of what the bug is.
I subscribe to an Avideo clone service running version 12.1 of the platform. Full screen streaming for iPhone does not work (it works fine on iPad).
Tapping the full screen button makes the video larger, but it does not enter full screen mode. Rotating the device causes part of the video to go off screen.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Expected behavior A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.
Video should enter native iOS full screen mode, no controls except video controls visible on screen (example: YouTube standard behavior, see https://youtu.be/Go4a15GhK2k)
