I understand there's no official app but is there an unofficial app I can link to the site with?

I seem to get the impression from Android users they can use a 3rd party app with some protocol i'm not aware off, but is there something for iOS?

Ahh I found it under "YPT Media" as it is on the Google Store, as opposed to "Live stream YPT"... thank you.

Thanks but I can't see to get it to connect. I've tried both plugins on the website: MobileManager (MobileManager)  Version: @1.5 | Manage the Mobile AppAPI Free  Mobile | Edit parameters and MobileYPT (MobileYPT)  Version: @1.0

Both give me the code to enter into the mobile app but when I enter it I don't work and just re-prompts me for the code.

Do you know if any additional ports or steps are needed to make the mobile app work and which plugin I should be using?

I did not have to enable anything extra. Are you generating a code from your user

I'm logged in as admin which is my user then I select on the left-side to "Connect Mobile App" and it gives me a QR code with a code generated as well. The QR code just links to the app. I enter the code and it just re-prompts me as though the code is wrong.

I've also tried on WiFi and Cellular.

Could you confirm the plugin on the website you use please?

Thanks, it seems to work on yours. Are you sure you don't have any ports other than 80 and 443 open and this is the correct plugin I'm using?

Yes those are the ports. You also have 2053 for your socket? Yes that is the same plugin as I have installed

Just opened it with TCP and UDP but still not letting me login. There must be a setting somewhere disallowing access via a mobile.

I am not aware of a disallow mobile setting. By default it allows.

It wasn't but it is now. Are there any other plugins that may be needed?

Check logs and see what they are producing. If a plugin is not enabled and needed there should be a clue in the logs.

it's working now, I disabled "Allow anonymous access" because I didn't want anyone getting in, it's a private website.

But they can't anyway without an account. As soon as I enabled that it worked. Thank you so much for your help... the mobile app will make a huge difference :)

Can I just ask if you know of any other recommended plugins?

Sorry to bother you but what is this socket for?

I'm trying to watch videos and getting this overlay to do with it and spoling the video?

You can turn that off panel in your ypt socket plugin. Uncheck view admin

That little box will show you everybody that's connected to your site

Ypt socket must be active to properly broadcast. The panel can be shut off

Also for good mesure make sure all boxes are also green under health check.

Hmm no such option to turn off the admin view :/ this is all the options in the plugin...

Show server debugger to admin... it's unchecked , you should not be seeing it. Log off and back on so settings take effect and see if that fixes it
