How should I edit the positions.csv file? Is there a way I can open the file from the GitHub Desktop?

I opened it in Excel and that worked for me.

Excel is probably easiest.

You can also open CSV files in a text editor like notebook or textpad, but you need to be careful to retain the same number of columns in each row then. It's a lot easier in Excel.
