Tested and confirmed in CKEditor 4.4.0 prerelease. Can not reproduce in 4.3.4 Browsers: All

  1. Open some editor sample
  2. Clear editor content
  3. Enable SCAYT
  4. Type sentence in editor "hello moto "
  5. Wait until word "moto" is highlighted
    • Actual result: cursor moves at the beginning of selected word.

Screencasts: http://goo.gl/14YSR8 http://goo.gl/1I9oEu

Plase note: as you can see in second screencast cursor moves at the beginning of first highlighted word.

There was a ticket reported for this issue on CKEditor's track: http://dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/11915. This is an annoying issue when typing and it happens on Chrome and Firefox.

WebSpellChecker commented 10 years ago

Thank you for reporting the issue. We're working on the solution and considering to release the fix in the middle of June with version 4.5.3.

wwalc commented 10 years ago

The last commit broke the plugin due to invalid use strict usage.

WebSpellChecker commented 10 years ago

Thank you for the comment. It has been fixed.

We're happy to announce that the 4.5.3 version of the WebSpellChecker.net application has been released. Fix for this issues is present in SCAYT plug-in (GitHub repository) and SCAYT CORE (Hosting side).

I still can reproduce the error. In Firefox when I click inside the editor before it is fully loaded the cursor jumps to the misspelled word. I use CKEditor in ProcessWire CMS and implemented the hosted/ad based version.

I can confirm that the bug is still there. At least in ckeditor 4.4.2 and scayt 4.6.2. Reopen please.

Reinmar commented 9 years ago

CKEditor 4.4.2 is an old release. Can you reproduce it on the latest release?

cbonami commented 9 years ago

I'll check it out and let you know. Please also note that:
