This is possibly the most-important and useful episode the Rogues have put out (and they're clearly stoked by it as well). Absolutely required material for anyone in our field.
The whole thing (including the mountain of resources they mention at the end) is fantastic, but I just got done watching one of Katrina's picks, and it's a terrific place to start.
Watch that first to get yourself excited, then listen to the whole episode and start putting it into play.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I found it encouraging to hear Avdi's take on "learning something well enough to be able to find the details when I need them" expressed as an actual methodology, since I've done that for decades and felt really guilty about it. However, I aspire to be more like James, who has 95% of ruby's syntax and method list memorized and plan to use the techniques described in the resources to get closer to that in the various areas I find most useful and interesting in my life.
