GirlDevelopIt (Detroit) interested in branching to GR! #60

Just saw this tweet from Girl Develop It Det (GDIDet), the Detroit branch of Girl Develop It:

"Lady developers in the Grand Rapids area: are you interested in starting a chapter of @girldevelopit? We'd love to talk to you!"

Most of you know I'm very focused on making our community as welcoming to everyone who wants to code, but not everyone wants to code in Ruby, so please pass this along to any women you know who are interested in coding in any language. And if they want to try (or get better at) Ruby, bring them with you to class! :smile:

Maybe we should let them know that our Ruby group would be happy to collab. In case someone does start a chapter here.

I like how their repo has lessons for distinct "courses". Sorta in the same line as we are working on building out.

Excellent suggestion, Adam. I tweeted back asking them to let us know if there was any way we could help. Hopefully something will come of it.
