Steam exe won't' run (Solution) [Bug]: #1062

Description

For everyone that can't run steam because the botton won't work:

All you have to do is uninstall complete Whisky app from ur Mac and also Steam. After that install whisky and the steam.exe and do the process, it should work.

To uninstall correctly both apps use: AppCleaner that will eliminate all the files related to these apps.

To be clear, there are three folders that need to be removed to completely uninstall Whisky (I hope I am right about this):

  1. The main application located in /Applications
  2. Support files, located in ~/Library/Application Support/com.isaacmarovitz.Whisky
  3. Bottle files, located in ~/Library/Containers/com.isaacmarovitz.Whisky/

(edit: made a change to the third folder path)
