Mass export / import of profiles #218

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. I'm always frustrated when I have to update anything or I when I just want to back up all profiles. I have multiple profiles (typing/default, different games); given the fact that I bought a Wooting Two HE ARM keyboard for speed, https://github.com/WootingKb/wootility-issues/issues/217 slowing down each export and having to manually click through everything is far from ideal.

Describe the solution you'd like Use the tried and tested solution from other programmable devices' manufacturers - "Export all" and "Import all" buttons. Make sure to avoid https://github.com/WootingKb/wootility-issues/issues/217.

Describe alternatives or workarounds you've considered

  1. As described in possible (partial) solutions to #217 - if you could change the share code generation workflow somehow (e.g. pre-generate once, cache and update cache once profile is actually changed and saved) so the user does not have to wait at all for the code, while it may take less time (rapid clicking, alt-tabbing, pasting and alt-tabbing back) it would still not be a good solution once the profile list gets long enough.
  2. Keep doing it manually and have to click twice for each of n profiles and have to wait a few seconds for each link to safely generate so you are not stopped by an error. While technically a "workaround", it's the exact reason that I wanted to avoid that that I am requesting this feature.

Would alleviate https://github.com/WootingKb/wootility-issues/issues/217. Would at least partially alleviate https://github.com/WootingKb/wootility-issues/issues/49.

Wootility and Firmware version Wootility 4.5.5, Firmware v2.6.19

Hey there, @simon-wh - any updates on this or 217? It's been over a year and you've said something about an overhaul of the profile management system - any updates on that? I still have to back up profiles by hand and while it's been tedious a year ago and it's gotten even worse now.

I'm afraid no update on bulk profile handling yet. With the Wootility V5 release it will get easier to handle individual profiles, but there won't be major changes to bulk handling. As Simon said in the previous response the system is setup for 1 by 1 handling and it's tricky to change.

Let me check if issue #217 will be resolved with v5
