There is no reason to include them. Some are known to be broken, some others are hardly even used by 1 person. I only included lexers I had some use for and of course the lexers Notepat2 had.
Is there a list somewhere that lists the broken lexers? The YAML one has been updated 5 months ago (as oppose to say Python which is 2 years old) so based on age, one could argue YAML is maintained better. Also, YAML is fairly popular (as oppose to AU3 for example) - I understand that you're probably not using it but unless it slows things down or it's broken, I think it would be a great (and easy) addition to link it into Notepad2.
Thanks.
Well, I have no use for this lexer. The last date a lexer is modified doesn' mean anything. And finally, your options are 1. Wait if more people ask for this 2. Do it yourself and provide a pull request which always is a plus.
I don't plan to add more random lexers I don't use; size and maintenance are important factors.

Hi,
Is there a reason why recently updated lexers (like YAML) are not liked into Notepad2? In fact, is there any reason why only some lexers are included?
Thanks
