I use T-PciE coupled with SIM868 for agriculture projects and I never had problems. With the new T-PciE equipped with AXP2101, when trying to power on the modem, I see that it goes down because of a voltage drop on the SY8089 output. Not all T-PciE boards behave in this way. I'm sure that the SIM868 modem works well because I tested it on an old T-PciE equipped with AXP192. I sent the command to increase the VBUS current limit to 2000mA. The behavior changes when I go outside my house, but not always. Do you have any suggestions to solve this problem?
