- What version of "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" addon are you using?
The most recent I can find: 2.7.3

- What version of Firefox?
3.6.19 (the most recent version my computer will run at all)

- On what operating system?
Windows XP

- Please provide any additional information below.

I am having a problem with my "Hide Caption Titlebar Plus" firefox addon. It
was working perfectly before for the day or so that I had it, but after
restarting my browser, I cannot get the Caption/Titlebar or the
Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons to hover like they were doing before.

Because my monitor is only about six inches high, I need all the space I can
get, so I absolutely adored this addon when it was working right.

For some reason, if I use the "Full Screen" option, for just a second, it hides
the caption, hovers the close buttons; but upon completing the Full Screen
process, they're shrunken and my Menu Bar is gone altogether.

No matter how much I toggle the options, it just doesn't work right anymore,
and I've only had it for maybe twenty-four hours. What could have changed?

Does anyone have any suggestions, and has anyone else had this problem before?
If so, how did you fix it?
Thanks so much!

- If there are visual issues, please provide also screenshot/s (preferred
uploaded here instead of external link)

What it looks like after restarting firefox (not working properly):

What it looks like just as I click "Full Screen":
-2.png (this is how it looked before; I love it like this!)

What it looks like once the Full Screen is complete:
-3.png (aw, so close :c)

Nearly two weeks now with still no luck. I've realized that it is something to
do with this feature mentioned here;

chrome://hidecaptionplus_fx/content/readme_en-US.html
"- Via "Customize Toolbar" window, the Min,Max,Close buttons can be placed in
any toolbar. (Also, in options dialog, you can hide the buttons located at
topright corner)"

But no matter what options I select and even if I add an "extra set" of the
min/max/close buttons, the bar and buttons at the top of the browser still
won't hide.

If anyone has any suggestions I would be very grateful, please?

First of all, you are using styles for your FF. You should have tested the
addon in a new clean profile before getting here to see if the problem
reproduced. Instructions at the end of the about section
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hide-caption-titlebar-plus-sma/

Second, compatibility for FF 3.6.# has been dropped since HCTP 2.3.2rc
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/hide-caption-titlebar-plus-sma/ve
rsions/?page=1#version-2.3.2rc

Third, not sure if you cannot use a FF version higher than 3.6.19 because of
limitations on your machine, or you simply are not aware of the updates for
3.6.#, but this is the lastest one for win32
ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/3.6.28/win32/

Fourth, you're saying your second screenshot is how it looks like before
failing, but I don't think this is looking good, I've seen Min-Max-Close
buttons with spare space between them before, and the addon was not working
right.

I suggest you to try other previous HCTP versions with your FF (maybe versions
higher 2.3.2rc could still work) and/or try to update your FF version.
Obviously, that is to say after you checked the addon on a clean new profile to
discard the issue is not originated by your further configuration in the
profile you're currently using.

You also should have looked for a previous answer to your problem. Here (second
post and beyond)
https://code.google.com/p/firefox-hide-caption-titlebar-plus/issues/detail?id=20
8&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Priority%20Modified%20Summary&start=100 you can
find the answer of the developer to a different issue than yours, but also with
3.6.# FF version... his suggestions pretty resembles mine.
