Give gap between ends to label each circle #10

Open manjusst opened 5 years ago

Hi Lilin, Hope you are doing good. I made nice plots, thanks for the package. But I am confused about how to provide the space to label each circle. I have attached an example file where each circle is labeled as a b c d.. Example Picture

Could you please help me out. Kind regards, Manjusst

Hi Manjusst,

I would prefer you to give a text explanation for each circle under the figure, as it may break the integrity of circle if you give gap in it. Anyway, i will modify the codes of CMplot for you if you really need the requirments.

Best, Lilin

Hi Lilin, I had replied asking some more help. Please have a look. Thank you in advance. Manju

Hi Manjunath,

Sorry for the late response, as I am busy in preparing my PhD dissertation and some related materials in recent weeks. I have viewed the two types of circular Manhattan plots attached on the email. Technologically, it is hard to integrate both trait names and y-axis into a big gap, and I preferred not to insert the trait names in each circle, since the big gap would break the integrity and symmetry of the circle. So I suggest to use the default output without a gap and give detailed explanatory notes under the figure.

Best, Lilin

Dear Lilin Yin, Thank you for your suggestion. Ok, I will retain the old graph. All the best with your thesis. Cheers, With regards,
