What eyetracker do you suggest using for hobby projects/home made applications ?

If there you used an off the shelf solution like pupil tracker can you indicate which one?

What do you suggest for someone who wants to build his own eye tracker ?

We currently use the pupil labs eye trackers (https://pupil-labs.com/pupil/) with the code from our repository.

If you want to use your own cameras, we recommend a 30Hz+ camera with 640x480 resolution and active IR illumination. An IR cut or IR bandpass filter placed in front of the camera is useful for eliminating environment reflections.
