Is it possible to remove the in-game graphic card detection?

my laptop's graphic card is 3050ti 4GB, it got the low quality textures in zzz. I've used heat gun to replace 3050ti's 1GB VRAM chips with 2GB and worked, but the result is the same in zzz. so i guess zzz is hardcoded the graphic card model detection in game.

Is it possible to remove the in-game graphic card detection code to make the game have better visual with 3050ti? maybe add an new option to let user can choose the in-game visual level or graphic card level? thank you.

i think your Laptop was using the Integrated Graphics Processor to play the game. so it need in nvidia Control Panel to set 。Or Close the nvidia whisper mode in geforce experience

unfortunately,I'm pretty sure it's running on discreted GPU and didn't use whisper mode. I set every in-game graphic setting as high as i can then i got this shit i've notice zzz will never use over 4GB VRAM on my 8GB 3050ti, but other games will do that. so i guess zzz doesn't check dGPU VRAM size at runtime but it check the dGPU model number in code.

ps: I've tried uninstall zzz and use regedit to delete all of mihoyo's registry keys(include mihoyo. hoyolab and zzz), and reinstalled zzz, but the result is the same :(

I've noticed that the level of visual effects seems to be related to the number of charging bangboos in the Lumina Square's parking lot. 3050ti laptop 4GB: 1 bangboo 1660ti 6GB: 2 bangboos 2060 6GB: 2 bangboos 3060 laptop 6GB: 2 bangboos

I don't have dGPU better than 3060 :(

2.8 custom visual can't change that shity picture.

if i set TAAU scale over 1.35, the picture will disappear. set it back to 1, the picture is still like shit.

i think zzz check the GPU model number during game initail procedure, and load corresponding texture asset. if it is 3050ti, zzz will load the low resolution texture pack :(

i got the shity low resolution texture before login game... my laptop game visual quality is worse than my cell phone==
