In-App Pinch-to-Zoom only works with 2nd Gen DVR (8.08.53+) #9

iOS Mobile App version 1.09.09

In-App Pinch-to-Zoom currently only works with 2nd Gen DVR (8.08.53+), and not with 1st Gen DVRs (7.93.53 or 7.80.53).

Wirepath is struggling to understand why this limitation exists. We are under the impression this is entirely an in-app feature, so cannot understand why it is limited to new-model DVRs.

Please explain why this is technically not feasible, or enable the in-app Pinch-to-Zoom feature for all DVRs.

Currently we Support Pinch-to-Zoom only when Video Stream Resolution is set to Dynamic

We may need opinion of Thomas for "Whether add Support for non-Dynamic video stream resolution or not?"

Bill Said on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 9:17 AM: The APP enable Pinch-to_zoom based on DVR dynamic extra stream supporting. So the feature will be disabled with GM series. There are 2 options for solving the problem. I think (2) will be better for us. (1) Modified GM series firmware for dynamic extra stream supporting. (2) Enable Pinch-to_zoom always.
