Request: ATTACK TYPES #20

ATTACK TYPES: Possible future development. Have Attack Types to choose from of Close Combat, Ranged, AOE, and Perception.

Close Combat will have a Reach feature that defaults at 1 but can be modified for weapons/characters with a longer reach due to Elongation or the Reach extra. If a target is out of range, it will do a range check and let the player know they cannot attack if out of reach. This also makes sure the attack roll checks vs. Parry Ranged will check the range of the power based on rank though can be modified due to extras and then will calculate any change to the attack check. This also makes sure the attack roll checks vs. Dodge AOE, will allow the user to assign a Template and then the appropriate Defense can be selected to avoid max damage and then prompt players with a roll if they are targets or automatically roll for NPCs. This also makes sure the attack roll checks vs. Dodge. This also makes sure the Toughness roll is changed so that instead of Hit or Miss its Full Damage or Half Damage. Perception Range Perception means no attack roll needed, but it is automatic.
