Adding a tutorial on joining Matrix #17

We have IRC webchat links that are really easy to join - both Freenode webchat and KiwiIRC. However, there are scenarios when we want people to be able to stick around (say, when they need help with a long-winded issue, are interested in contributing or simply don't receive an answer to their question). With both Freenode and KiwiIRC webchats not allowing you to view the history and losing all messages when you close the tab, it would be great to have an alternative where people can enter a login&password and get a permanent account for free - not having to install a bouncer or something along these lines.

I think we should use Matrix for that - it's really easy to use, there are already lots of people in our webchat using it (including myself, though I mainly use IRC) and it is reliable. However, we shouldn't guide people through registration and join process each time, neither they should have to figure out everything on their own - even though the registration process is quite straightforward, instructions can ensure a high join rate for people that might not be able to figure out a particular step (which happens to the best of us).

My idea is - have step-by-step instructions on ZeroPhone Wiki, that we could link to newcomers (or ChanServ could link those automatically on entry from a webchat). Once we have that, it should be easy for people to stick around and be able to receive answers to their questions.

If you want to work on this issue, request a ZeroPhone Wiki account, feel free to fill the bio with useless info (it's only there to prevent bots from submitting requests). Then, ping us on IRC so that we accept the account - you can use either Freenode webchat or KiwiIRC if you don't have a Matrix/IRC account yet.
