Since the R version cannot be used directly, I was wondering about using the METDNA2 server. However, I have a concern about this:
Would you store my data (MS1 peak table, MS2 data, and table for sample information) for other purposes?
This is important because my data is from a collaboration project. I tried to explore the clarification about this, but I found no information, so I assume my data would be stored by METDNA2 for other purposes. Please let me know if this is the case.
In the other server for metabolomics analysis, like Mummichog, there is an explicit statement about the data storage:
I agree with the data use and privacy policy: user information and data is used only for cumulative statistics, not shared with a 3rd party. All user result is deleted from our server within 7 days. This software service is provided "as is" and any express or implied warranties, including, but not limited to, the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
Data: Your data will be stored in a temporary folder on our server during data analysis. They will be removed automatically by our data cleaning routine within 72 hours. For raw data processing jobs, the data may stay longer on our server as they may be queued for analysis
