add offline calendar option please #231

I think the title is self-explanatory enough. I (and I assume some other people maybe) would like the option to have and manage local offline events. I personally think it would be a welcome addition, but if you can not add it due to technical reasons, time constraints, or simply not wanting to, I would completely understand.
