I am using Event Calendar linked to my Google account. It works fine (but it would be great to be able to link more than one Google account tho). Anyway, the issue I am seeing is that the widget is always showing a ghost all day event for 'yesterday' unless there is a real event that day.
In the attached screenshots you can see the ghosts events (in blue) except for October 11th, because I did have an event on October 10th.
