In which case would you bake lighting into vertex color for a heightmap? (Especially when Godot already produces shadows)
This is a modded version of the plugin which has vertex painting, I will consider merging it to add the option https://github.com/HumanSheeple/GodotTerrainEditorPainter
Would love to have support for (multiple) vertex color painting + alpha color layers. Also to bake lighting into the vertex color channels.
