Team's Response

A period tracker is meant to track past and current period inputs as some users might want to track their menstrual history for medical reasons, such as monitoring irregularities. With that, allowing new users to start their PulsePilot journey by entering past entries enables them to maintain a comprehensive record. Moreover, this ensures that users can accurately track their menstrual cycle, even if they forget to input data on time. Therefore, it may be not sensible to stop users for adding back-dated period.

However, PulsePilot does prevent users from entering new period inputs that are earlier than the latest period input so that users will update PulsePilot continuously.
