Pull Requests on GitHub Mirror #543

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

Under "Links" on the "Project Home" sidebar, there's a link to a GitHub mirror
of dompdf (https://github.com/shadowhand/dompdf), and I've submitted a couple
pull requests to it. Is that repo being watched at all?

The mirror on github is not currently maintained by the core development team.
dompdf is using SVN at present and the git repo was created by a developer
we've worked with in the past (Woody Gilk). There is no formal agreement as to
the relationship between our primary repo and the one on github. Woody does
have commit access to our repository, but you would have to talk to him about
integrating pull requests and committing them back to our SVN repo.

I find this project really useful and would like to help out - any chance of
moving to git/github in the near future? I realize we can just email you
patches, but it's not ideal, and it would also be nice to be able to use DOMPDF
package as a git remote (at least until I add composer support).

I seriously think you would get a huge amount more help with this project if it
was on github.

I recognize that I'd like to change to Github because of a few changes Google
made on this platform recently.
Pull requests and a bigger community is something really interesting.

We've set up over on github and will evaluate any pull requests. Find the
project repo here:
