Preventing papers from being accepted due to attrition #52

Many papers are revised so many times, they just wear AEs down. How do we prevent this? One idea is a consulting role instead, just recognizing that some authors just need help. This is often caused by students and faculty who didn’t get training, and are adrift and lack expertise and mentoring. Give an hour to talk to an author intead of review process.

This is generally resolved based on the 1 R&R limit.
