adafruit / Adafruit-Eagle-Library

Slowly building up a collection of parts we use here ... This file includes some library parts from microbuilder.eu Most of 'em are either Eagle parts that I've changed a little to make them easier to solder, some are 'handmade' and a few are from microbuilder.eu Its released into the Public Domain - that means you can do whatever you want. We'd like it if you kept the author email/url in the part description, just so we can be alerted if there are errors. Enjoy!

Fix 1x2-3.5MM terminal block hole pitch to be within manufacture spec #7

I used the 1x2-3.5MM in a project and when I got my PCB, the terminal blocks did not fit. After investigating, I found that the dimensional drawing from TE states they recommend a 1.2 - 1.4mm hole, but the eagle part uses a 1mm hole. The dimensional drawing says the pins are "0.9 typ", so perhaps I just got an atypical batch, but I think the hole should be within their spec to avoid this in the future.

This pull request changes the hole to 1.2mm and also increases the pad size as to not affect any electrical characteristics.

Dimensional drawing can be found here: http://www.te.com/catalog/pn/en/1776275-2

I didn't notice this pull request when I went to use this part in the library and the terminal blocks will not fit using a 1mm hole. The main Adafruit library has not yet been updated to correct this error. This has been open for several months now - can it please be merged so future users will not run into PCB issues as I have? Thanks!

I am guessing this is old, forgotten and not worthy at this point, so closing so it doesn't forever show up in my open pull requests list.
