I don't entirely understand your PR's objective. But it seems like it is not ready for review, I converted it to draft. Feel feel to mark it as ready when you want me to review it.

Hi, since it seems that there is some external interest in using S340, I will be adding the requested changes to my pull request when I have time. Please see #151.

@IpswichDiesel If you have any questions about using S340 please let me know. Once my PR is merged it should be easy to do.
