Pack is consuming WAY to much RAM #963

Ive tried playing this pack on multiple occasions now, and according to the Page, it says 8gb of ram to run at maximum, well thats a load of shit, because at 8GB, it lags, crashes, takes forever to load, and bricked my PC. I up it to 12GB of ram, and the same problem occurs, but atleast i can "Play" the game, albeit at 1/5th of my normal Framerate for modpacks. I havent the faintest clue why this thing is consuming so much ram.

I'd recommend 9Gb; 8 is the bare minimum in my experience. Going much over 8 can cause some issues with Java itself, but it's a necessary evil in this case.

Also - please provide your machine's specs. I expereience no issues with 32GB RAM, an i5-10600K and an RTX 2060. However, running on an 8 or 16Gb machine is going to be pushing it to say the least - you'll be running into your pagefile and massively slowing down your machine, explaining the lower framerate.

RAM usage of the pack will not decrease in the near future. When you have 379 mods, this is what you get. If that's not to your liking, use Eternal Lite instead, which is intended for weaker computers.
