Hi,

This list comes from what you have in the new tab. Create a new tab and grab your favourite file types and drag them into the top section. See this screenshot:

OK - could do with a little more prompting no that as was not obvious. Note also. 50% of the time opening a file with a particular extension the editor defaults to the wrong type i.e. open .html and it shows JavaScript bottom right. similarly for .js it defaults to HTML a lot.

When you change mode for a file type it will use that mode from then on.
