Is this ATARI iPad controller supported now for iMame4all? It would be great
because I am thinking on getting one.

Yes,it is really a pity this controller can't be used with iMame4all. It is
more portable than the iCade and it is great to play with it too. It is a pity
that it can only be used with the Atari games. Now you can find this controller
very cheap so it is now a really interesting device.

Where are you from?

Spain.

But I have realised that is using the old connector. All my devices are
lighting connector and I will need to reverse the protocol I think.

Said that I will not support this device it is die.

I'm currently very busy adding netplay support which I think is an
awesomemmissing feature.

😱😭 it is a pity. I have to check if the device works with a 30pin to 8pin
adaptor. The iPad 4 on a dock and connected through a cable to the Atari
controller. If it works...Do you think it would worth the effort?

I suppose they will release a 8 pin version soon.

Soy de Barcelona, no me es caro mandarte mi arcade joystick. Te lo podría
mandar. Y si por caualidad fueses de bcn o alrededores mejor que mejor porque
te lo acerco en mano.

"I suppose they will release a 8 pin version soon."

I doubt that as the company is out of business.

I have the atari arcade and an ipad 2, so I would naturally love to see support
for this device as well. Hopefully a developer can come across a deal like I
found for an Atari Arcade. I found one for 75% off at Barnes and Noble. I know
woot had a deal on them recently as well...

The joystick on it is much better than the icade i have. iCade works, but i
just don't like the joystick. I find i use the Atari games more because of the
nostaligic joystick feel.

If anyone is intersted in purchasing one of these devices (bluetooth version)
to donate to developers, catch of the day (in Australia) is selling them for
$4.99 plus postage. I'm not affilliated with cotd, I'm just looking to find out
if the device was supported on Android, and ran across this page. The date is
29 Oct 2013.
http://www.catchoftheday.com.au/event/21318/product/atari-arcade-controller-for-
ipad-108834

Excuse me if the link is inappropriate.. just trying to help out.

so far impossible to make it work. I bought several USB cables (with a
female apple on the other side) but they only transfer power, not data. So
the device was even not seen by my linux box.

If anyone has a USB cable, I'm happy to code a driver for it and make it
available for MAME.
