Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
When I try to create a Quill Account for synchronization, I get the following
error: "Error creating account (server said: Unable to resulve host
"quill.sagepad.org": No associated with hostname).

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Go the notebook overview
2. Press sync
3. Click on "create new"
4. Enter e-mail, leave the default password and name

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
That a account is created.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Android 4.0.4 on Samsung Note 10.1.
Quill version 10.5.

Please provide any additional information below.

Exact same symptoms here. This is the feature that separates this app from
everything out there. I would pay to have it implemented.

Thanks for the reply, but sadly it does solve the issue.
I can't see any status announcements on the service.
When I try to create an account I get a server error, seems to be same problem
as in the app.

After the login page it says:

In the future you will be able to open your notebooks right here in your
browser. However, this feature is not ready yet. Stay tuned!

I still cannot use the account credential on the device for sync. It keeps
replying with http error 301.

For me the priority is High, since I reseted my tablet and if I cannot login to
sync, I cannot get my papers back! :(
You guys cold add sync to G Drive to avoid things like that!

The website does not open at all. Gives a 503 service error. Is this going to
be resolved sometime soon?

Yup, syncing would be high priority for me too.

Need to reset my password but the sync website isn't available? Is there any
progress or is quill a dead project?
