Consider sending data straight to BigQuery / Cloud Storage

Advantages:

• Simpler
• Easier to maintain / deploy / test
• More time/processing efficient

Questions:

• Is the Raspberry Pi powerful enough to deal with this?

We've decided to keep the Cloud Function as it would be a security issue to allow the gateway direct access to our BigQuery instance.
