UI changes migration from 2019 student project

Most of these changes seemed to be in line with discussions. Was relatively straightforward check and incorporate these.

Additions include:

• disruption workflow
• smoke dataset vis
• blank population dropdown
• traffic speed slider
• half of the create simulation workflow
