Mh... Strange thing is that other sound should pause automatically with Android
2.2.
Please uninstall SayMyName completely, install it again and try again
afterwards.

I did a reinstal as you suggested
Same behaviour. I noticed one thing: This problem only occurs with text
messages. When I call my phone the audio stopps and the ringtone is playing
while the callers name is read

Ah, I've got it! :D Enable "Change Audio Routing" in Advanced Settings. :)

Thanks for the fast reply.
As I wrote before it doesn't help to change the audio routing
There is a (weird) difference:
With "Chance Audio routing" enabled, the ringtone is played and the name is read
Without, the ringtone doesn't even play. Only the reading
In both cases the music continues to play and the volume of the music is
changed as long as the reading takes.

That sounds really weird.
A few things you could try:
- Uninstall SayMyName again.
- Install this one:
http://code.google.com/p/roadtoadc/downloads/detail?name=SayMyName_2.5.3.2.apk
- Don't change any settings except "Bluetooth- / Headset-support"
- If it doesn't work follow these steps:
http://www.tomtasche.at/p/SayMyName/wiki?id=5#article
- You don't need to wait for a Force Close. Just do it after receiving a SMS /
call.
Good luck
Tom

No changes with the version you linked.
"Bluetooth- / Headset-support" - seems to have the same function as "Change
audio routing" in original version.
I have sent you the device log using the version you linked.
